Outstanding natural beauty to enjoy
We are fortunate to be located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and footpaths lead in all directions out of the village. You can literally walk, run or ride for miles! Google Maps, ONS or Strava will all give you recommended routes or you can try out one of our suggestions. Worth a visit are Blackdown, Octavia’s Hill, Witley Common and Hambledon common.
A SHORT DRIVE AWAY
History, hunting for antiques & tasting experiences
If you are happy to drive, the surrounding countryside offers stately homes and castles of all shapes and sizes. Explore Petworth House and Park along with its charming town, or Arundel’s medieval castle and many Antiques shops. There are theatres in Guildford and Chichester, many vineyards & distilleries, and you can even get to the beach in about 40 minutes.
